Education

I have actually always hated school, yet I have two masters degrees.

How did that happen?

My learning is that education IS important, in the sense that it teaches critical thought and how to find information. I do however have my thoughts on the types of education, and the way we perceive learning. By now, it shouldn't surprise too many people when 

I have tried some different programs over the years, some that I have chosen not to complete, and some that I have.

A question that has as many replies as there are educated KaosPilots!

But in short, it is a school.
A very different type of school.

Where people learn a variety of skills that helps enable competencies in 

Currently, the KaosPilot School themselves state;

A Kaospilot is a graduate of the 3-year Enterprising Leadership Program. A Kaospilot is a profession in its own right. It is a person who drives results and creates transformation and who can best be described as a changemaker, an entrepreneur and a leader."

Masters in Marketing

Edinburgh-Napier-University-logoTo get a larger understanding of marketing as a larger field, I undertook a degree at Edinburgh Napier University, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Probably the most charming city in the world!

My degree was called a Master of Science in Marketing with Festival and Event Management.

MBA

Nord-University-logoI have also uTo be able to put my marketing background and other experiences in context, I have also undertaken an executive MBA at Nord University in Norway.

The course was part time, over three years. A very interesting approach to taking a degree, allowing me to meet other professionals from across Norway working in a wide variety of fields.

Not all knowledge comes from academic education and some education is never completed.
I have tried my hand at various types of education, and have a series of different certifications behind me. This all led to many people asking for advice over the years.
